Delete your data
Slate keeps everything on your phone and nothing on any server, so deleting it there deletes it everywhere Slate keeps it.
Delete all data, in the app
- Open Slate and tap the menu button at the top left.
- Tap Settings, then Delete all data.
- If you want a copy first, tap Back up first.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete.
- A five-second countdown gives you a last chance to tap Cancel.
This erases your tasks and habits, notes, gratitude, exercise and body weight, focus sessions, bucket list, photos and all settings, and cancels every reminder. Slate then starts fresh. It cannot be undone.
Or uninstall
Uninstalling Slate removes everything it stored on your phone.
Copies outside Slate
Two kinds of copy are not Slate's to delete:
- Backup files you exported. They are wherever you saved them; delete them there.
- Google's device backup, if it is on for your phone. Manage or delete it in your phone's settings or your Google account.
